Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDFs into one. Reorder by dragging or with the arrow buttons, then download. Everything happens in your browser, so your files never touch a server.
Files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I merge PDF files for free?
Drop your PDFs onto the upload area, drag the rows (or use the arrow buttons) to set the order you want, then click Merge PDF. The combined file downloads straight away. No signup, no watermark, no page limit.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There's no fixed file count, but each file is capped at 100 MB and the queue at 300 MB total, because merging happens in your browser's memory. Very large batches are better done in a few passes.
What gets preserved in the merged file?
Page content is copied exactly: text, vector graphics, images, and embedded fonts all come through unchanged. Bookmarks, form fields, and internal cross-page links are not carried over — the merged file contains the pages themselves, not the document-level structure around them. If you need bookmarks preserved, use a desktop PDF editor.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. The PDF library we use in the browser cannot decrypt files, so we detect encrypted PDFs when you add them and flag the row instead of producing a broken merge. Remove the password or permissions restriction first.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device and we never see them.
